You can turn right outside the condo and cross on foot  over the bridge that spans Folly River and be on Center Street on Folly Beach.  From the front of the condo you have views of the Folly River and from the back of the condo you have an unobstructed view of the marsh.  You can literally bike or walk to area restaurants, the beach and fishing pier (see Folly Attractions).

Folly Beach is conveniently located only 8 miles from Charleston, SC.  As a result, you get the best of both worlds - the ocean life and the attractions of Charleston.

Directions to Water's Edge from I-26 Eastbound:

I-26 W to I-17 S exit into Charleston. I-17 S until you reach Lockwood Drive. Left onto Lockwood Dr. James Island Connector (Rte 30) to James Island/Folly Beach. Take Folly Rd. exit. Turn left toward Folly Beach. Go over the bridge onto Folly Beach (you can see Water's Edge on the right)and make your first right onto West Indian St.  You'll make another right onto West 2nd Street and and follow to the Water's Edge condominiums.
